Do you all remember when my friend died at age 43, from an enlarged heart on Easter Sunday?
Well, her mom passed away this morning, on Mother's day. She died in her sleep, just like her daughter!!!!
Isn't that weird? I feel so bad for her family. She had just called me (her name is sandy), the other night.
She was in poor health, so no autopsy will be done, but she called me the other night, to ask me what day it was. She had trouble with Parkinson's disease, strokes, etc...I told her what day it was. She said, "You're the only one i could call, that wouldn't think i was crazy".
I told her she could call me anytime to ask me what day it was. I think she died of a broken heart. She probably missed her daughter so much, and then a few weeks ago she had to put one of her cat's to sleep. Just too much grief for one person to ensure. I know she's not in pain any longer, she lived with chronic pain for years.
So, here's to my "extra" Mom...Sandy Kazel...may she find peace, be pain free, and be reunited with her special daughter Alex, for eternity.

Just 2 weeks ago my mom's best friend passed she was a second mom to me also. She was setting in a chair at her daughters house and never woke up. God can be so good at how he takes our loved ones with out no pain.

I am very sorry to hear this about your extra Mom. There are people out there like our "extra mom's", that just bring a little extra love into your lives. It's nice, and I really appreciated her for who she was. She was confused a lot, she drove us crazy, but she was so sweet, and loving and caring. She sometimes had the mentality of a little kid, and that made her even more loveable.

The fact that your "extra" Mom wanted to know what day it was - sounds like she knew something. I have comfort in knowing that "something else is going on." - I'm certain she's reunited with her daughter and all of her long ago family.
