I try and do in cleaning the house which takes a lot of breathe and energy. I tell myself what if someone came over and sees this mess. This way I am getting some exercise and movement

Mayhaps you could talk to your pulmonologist about something to ease the anxiety associated with being SOB. They might be able to help.
On the cheering section side, It's OK to be SOB if you know how to deal with it. Using PLB and increased O2 as necessary to keep your pulse O2 above 88. We start out slow, say walking up and down a hallway a certain number of repetitions several times a day. When you get used to that, you can increase the distance or change where you walk. As DC says, hoousework can be a good exercise, plus the added benefit of a job well done...

I'm not a huge fan of exercise and can't walk that far at a time due to spinal stenosis (which is better than it was) but I have a stationery bike that makes me feel so much better that it is worth the time. The fitness center in town has a few too but I like the convenience of the one my sons gave me and I can read magazines while I pedal and that makes the time go quickly.
I sleep better afterwards too than I do on the nights when I have to miss the exercise.
Good luck and hugs, Cindy
You are not alone. I have the same issue with motivating myself. I get SOB just walking out my door to get the paper. I have exercise tapes for COPD patients, but I get bored doing the exercises by my self.
If you get some motivation, please let me in on it.
Hugs,
Jean
I try to icorporate excerise into my daily routine, but I have to start out slowly and build up. The more active I am during the day the better I feel at the end of the day. Go figure?
This works for me. I hope you can find what works for you!
