Greeting all.
This is my first post attempt although I've been reading for some time now.
I was dx'd COPD about 4 years ago and was placed on Brovana almost immediately. It seems to have done a good job holding back progression and I've been able to pretty well do what I wanted.
Last February I had a bout with bilateral PE and have had a slow down a lot since then and even with intermittent use of O2.
I have a slow growing lung nodule, keyword 'growing', that my doc says needs to come out before it gets nasty. I want to ask if anyone here has experienced this surgery and if so what were your experiences. I fear the surgery but am resigned it's the best bet for me yet I would love to learn from someone with experience.

Yes, it's scary for sure but hopefully it has been detected plenty early and all will go well.

Did this nodule just turn up in february with the PE or has it been growing for the past 4 years?
my experine has been like gracenme;
I have a nodule (found in 2012). I had a CT sccan done every 3 months to "watch" if it grew & how fast.
it didn't grow so I went to having a CT every 6 months.
Now I do yearly CT.
As with any surgery, it might be a good idea to get a 2nd opinion from another dr.
