where in the world has the old daily strength gone? This feels and looks totally different. True its been a long time since I was an active member, but where are my friends?
I hope to get some emotional support (and to give some, too) from this site, so I will try it for awhile. Is there anyone on here from the 'old group"?
I have just been given an idea of how long I can expect to live--I thought I wanted to know. Its 18 months at the outside limit (although I know that these things can be drastically wrong). This afternoon I slept (one of my favorite 'let's not think about that' routines) and the rest of the time I've just kind of sat here stunned. I guess its just going to take some time for my brain to get wrapped around this new information. Its not that I expected it to be longer, I actually thought I could go most any time. I'm feeling confused about my feelings. Any one else been here? Any comments, helpful or otherwise?
As i have zero options and been classified as severe with a Fev.1 @ 18% I guess I am on the exit list but no way am I ready to check out yet...Still reasonably active and self reliant, I no longer worry about numbers and just do what needs to be done......
Take care...or BTW...name a few that you knew and i can try and see if i can find out...I was in DS since 2012.....
The others are scattered around various FB Support Groups and a few have passed on..
