Some nites when I cannot sleep, my mind drifts back thru time and so many memories......I was blessed with a ''photographic'' memory and I can recall events like I was there, down to trivial details.....EXCEPT dates....can never remember birthdays, who got married when, anniversaries, which often caused me lots of grief...lol

Last nite Beth was telling me how lost she would be if I died.....as some know my wife is a Filipina n been here since Dec 13, so everything is still harder for her to comprehend.....Well I have tried over n over to re-assure her that everything has been taken care of, at least on paper but she tends to avoid the reality.......

Anyway that's not why I posted.....This depressive type chatter made me think about my own funeral.....how would I like to farewell this world.....and then it clicked.......I DID HAVE A WONDERFUL LIFE......so I have chosen this for her to play when I say farewell........with the headphones on and the volume up.....here it is...

Oh yes, Gwapo! I DID HAVE A WONDERFUL LIFE TOO! And this music transports me back to many fun times in high school especially on weekend nights when we would turn our car radios to Randy's out of Gatlinburg, TN to hear this music. In Michigan the local radio stations wouldn't play it and we had to drive to the other side of the tracks to buy the records.
When I feel down, I listen to this or possibly the folk music from the 60's and remind myself what a wonderful life this has beenI

I hated dancing. I wasnt any good, too stiff, too self-conscious, and it seriously cut into ones drinking time, but it was the best way to meet women, so I was out there shaking it.
