Hi everyone... I started pulmonary rehab yesterday. I am set for 12 weeks at 3 x per week. As odd as it sounds, I am grateful that I qualify. (FEV1 @ 49) My mom had copd and I really think she slowly gave up moving without even realizing she was doing it. Then I realized I was doing the same thing- avoiding stairs and I live in a home with stairs, for example. Either way, I really like reading your posts and encouraging words. According to the folks at my rehab, insurance typically only pays for this one time, unless there is a major reduction in my lung function, so I have to make the best of it. Just sharing my new project.
