Imogene oxygen

does anyone know what Imogene oxygen tanks (systems) are?

They are portable concentrator units. Inogen also SeQual Eclipse is another brand.

All I really know about them is that they are like a go everywhere portable oxygen machine. You can use them in the car with the car battery, on the go with a charged battery and also as a plug in to your electric output in your home. They are expensive ranging from
$4,00.00 to $5,00.00 dollars. Does any one have one of these and does medicare pay for any of it or is it all out of pocket?
I would love to get one if medicare helps out with the expense.

Inogen one is a pulse dose concentrator. They say you can sleep with it, but your doctor I'm sure would have to o.k. it. It is light weight and good for travel, airplanes etc.

If you get the inogen one Medicare will pay for it, however it is to meet all your needs. You would have to use it at home for your concentrator and when you go out for your portable oxygen. Going out would depend on how long as your battery life is only a couple of hours and the batteries themselves are a little heavy especially when carrying extras.

Check with your doctor and ask if you can use a pulse dose machine to sleep.
