Went to Columbia Presbyterian to see about LVRS. STLL DON'T HAVE AN ANSWER. After more testing, they will present my case on Wednesday and I hope to have an answer then.
In my favor is the location of the emphysema, upper lobes and the fact that I just completed rehab.
In order to get the proper amount of O2 (15-25liters), I had to give up my portable O2 unit because Medicare says you can have one or the other, not both. I am trying to see if I can purchase the one I have now.
I need to loose another 20 lbs, Oh joy!
I can't start my home exercising until Monday when I get my O2.

You will be fine on your exercises. It is easy to gt back to where you were, as long as it is not a real long time, like months.
