Gee, that's about the nicest thing anybody ever said to me. The book is printed--in just typewriter form, except for the one chapter I don'tike and can't get right. The printing is all mixed up because I didn't write straight thru-- I wrote whatever I felt like at the time. So I have to cut apart the pages and tape them back together again in order. I am ashamed to send this mess to anyone but as you said you'd be ok with just what there is, I'll put it together and send it this week, just remember it's really bad,. I don't know where I got the idea I could write, but I did enjoy trying and it gave me something to do. Am awfully blue and depressed and weak, shouldn't be but have a horrible feeling something terrible is going to happen and can't say so to daughter, upset her. Big, black cloud--- again, please understand so called book is not finished, would not offer this mess to anyone but understanding friend, will maybe give you a laugh or two. Hope visit to Dr. gets you some help. Is puppy ok ??

You bet. Puppy is fat and sassy. Doc hit me with a couple of shots. I feel whole lot better. My labs were good, so no sweat there. I see him again next month. And you need to pull out of your funk. I believe what you say. My wife said the same. Carry on. Look forward to something.

Try this again. Your, "Book", is on its way. It is worse than I thought. Not only parts missing but parts left over. I do not believe this is the way great literature is created. Anyway, I had fun writing it. Best.

I had just shoved ,"The book", aside and put it out of my mind until you asked for it. The parts missing are parts I re-read and trashed because I hated them. Now I am anxious to hear your opinion---It was just something to do because I am so tired of TV and Kendall and vcr and even reading. A actually, I wrote a couple books years ago. I worked for four years in West Cameroon,and wrote a couple novels there. They were printed by a publisher in South Africa, but not much of an audience for my--??--style. The brits want syrup and aristocracy , the Americans want grit. The natives don't understand why people read books.I shouldn't say that about Cameroonians- they are very nice people. Not at all like the Nigerians next door. Anyway, just read the dam book, or what there is of it, tell me it's pathetic and I should take up knitting like senile, old,sick, crippled females are supposed to do.

Not the puppy we get. Our puppy isn't born yet. We just meet his mom and pop and make a deposit on him.He is of champion blood lines, akc and we are to have him police trained by the breeders. He is to be a guard for daughter after I am gone and she is alone. This is a German Shepard. I wanted a doberman.I am not a dog person but I really like dobermans.
