Hi all!

Hope you all have a good day, filled with good O2 sat's, and feeling rested!!

I'm going to see my Mom for the 1st time today, and i'm really happy. The hospital is paying for a cab, so i don't have to ask anyone for a ride.

I'll update you later, on how she's doing.

Hi All,

Mom was so happy to see me, as i was happy to see her. We met with social worker, and another woman. They just wanted to make sure Mom knew all that she had been thru, what infections, what treatment, etc. She looked terrible, lost 20 pounds in 7 weeks, but she was very alert and with it.

Then she and i ordered lunch and sat and talked. It was reallly nice.

Of course i was totallly exhausted when i got home. I hardly slept at all last night, so i was tired when i woke up today. Just alot on my mind, and it was a crazy day yesterday.

As soon as she gets rid of her infections, they will send her to rehab, to work on walking. if she can't walk, she can't come home.

I'm so glad you had a nice visit with your mom. My mom is 91. She lives 700 miles away from me, but across the street from my brother. My sister also lives with my mom so I know she is well cared for. Anyway, I call my mom almost every day. It is such a great pick-me-up for me. She makes me laugh. No-one like your mom to make you feel loved.
