Mt with the transplant team Monday and Tuesday. My case will be presented at the next team meeting on Friday and I may be on the list for the transplant. They also said lung volume reduction may also be an option.
My FEV was 24, down from 47. Passed the 6 minute walk test. Walked 792 feet! Even surprised myself.
Rehab starts on Friday. Need to get myself in fighting shape.
Send positive vibes into the universe that I can get on the list.

Prayers and best wishes for you. I hope you get on the list also, and tho I am sad I am not ready for mine, according to the doc's, I won,t give up either. Great 6 minute walk!!! Goodness, I can not get 2-3 minutes, (without o2). But you need to be strong as possible to get thru the surgery and give your self every possible chance of a successful transplant. I also was not eligible for LVR because my emphy was all over my lungs, but if you could get that, then later do a transplant, that is great too. God be with you and the doctors, and prayers from me to you for the best of all results.

Good for you Pat, I will Pray it all goes your way. You did better on your walk test than I did. I was told I am not bad enough yet for the transplant. I think it could be my age causing the delay. My next appointment will be for LVR.
