im having a flare up,doc put me on 40 ml predneson for 10 days,seems to slowly be workin,if i do my exersies bike will rhat help clear my lungs faster,seem kinda hyper at this point,thanks
That prednisone will make you feel jumpy/hyper, at least on some folks.
Drink lots of water and use mucinex liquid or tablet to thin the phlegm in your lungs then cough it up and out. That is the only way to clear your lungs, just getting the gook out of there.
my dr said i could use the mucinex/guafenisen also.
i think mucinex also has one that has a cough suppressant in it, but my dr didn't want me to use the cough suppressant kind because he wants me to cough & get the gook up.
i personally like the generic guafenisen & haven't figured out why it says "Tussin" on the box, but when i check "active ingredient list it has guafenisen as the only thing.
and i am always sipping water to stay hydrated, ease my dry mouth, & loosen the mucous/flem (hopefully)
of course, as with all medicines, you should check with your dr.
as you just saw him maybe a call to his office can answer if the "tussin" is okay for you to take with your other meds & you won't have to wait for another visit.
