Exercising with oxy

Ok, I was just put on 02 while sleeping and exercising. The canula irritates my nose which causes it to stuff up so that I can't breath through me nose and I end up breathing through my mouth. Anybody have this problem and how did you deal with it. Thanks

I also use o2 for sleeping and exercise. My nose got stuffed up because of the dry air in the house during winter. I use a humidifier bottle on the reservoir tank and that solved the problem of a stuffy nose at night.

Also Ary nasal gel helps.

Ditto. Your 02 supplier should bring you a humidifier to go on your concentrator, just call and ask.

ditto the others, i wear my 02 24/7 except if i'm just sitting at computer;
i will mention the "winter" humidifier bottle problem though as i'm playing it again.
==in the winter the water concentrates in the line & pours water into my nose
so i tried just a humidifier again to no avail. soon my nose is bleeding cuz of the dryness.
so back to the water bottle on the concentrator BUT ALSO (ask your company to give you) an "in line water trap"
--- i have to put the water trap right before the canula & empty the water trap at least once a day.
the concentrator water bottle is a pain for me in the winter, but i'm finding once again i just can't go without it :(


also at night i have found the "breath right" (name brand) nose strips help me alot as i'm a mouth breather anyway.
