I think that I have panic attacks when I have shortness of breath. I'm not positive! Anyone else?

Yes. I have panic attacks with SOB and without SOB. Best thing for me is to concentrate on pursed lip breathing and distract myself from fear. Best wishes to you.

Oh yeah. I have got good at calming myself down when I get them. But that doesn't stop them from happening

There's a lot to read but this site had some great suggestions, exercises and information about COPD and Panic Attacks...
Your not alone ladybug.. many of us get them and its a pretty natural response... Hang in there!

i have copd just found out but i had anxiety and panic attacks before i found out so yup i do too. it sucks but we can make it

Had them for years.
My question: Do COPD'rs have them more/worse than other terminal conditions?

I use to have attacks, but recently I found out it was not the COPD but acid reflux.

I have that some what in control so I have not have any so far. However, I use the PLB frequently, just because it makes me feel good.
