Hello all! Haven't been on in a while, been busy :) I do have a question....How often do you get a ct scan?

I have an HRCT done yearly now.

When I 1st had one done in 2012 they found some nodules & wanted to see if they grew. so I had one after 3 months and another after 9 month (or may have been 3, 6 & 9 months)
once they were sure that they were not growing the labelled them granulous nodules (something like that). now I just have an HRCT done once a year, but they still check the nodules while they are at it.'

Thanks jarca! I was wondering what the norm was. I'm getting one done in Oct. last one was December. He ordered a low dose ct to see what my bulla is doing :)

I usually have a ct done every 6 mos to monitor the consolidation to be sure it's only an infection & not cancerous...so when this consolidation appears, I have follow up chest xrays then 6 mos later another ct scan done...also I have Pulmonary Sarcoidosis so when new nodules appear, they need to be monitored as well...
