coincidently to your posting this, i watched a movie about the guys (it showed brothers) that started the ALS foundation.
they had such little time to fight for the life of the brother who got ALS & that was the point---that he didn't have years to be studied & drugs tested; max life span is 5 years i guess.
prostrate cancer amazed me how much for research. but then prostrate cancer is even a faster killer (i lost 2 immediate family members to this)----i sure watched patrick swayze close as i wondered if you had money if you could live longer than the predicted year or less with that dx
so kind of interesting if you think about which of the sooooo many TI's would we would chose to donate to first.
i am rather amazed at how breast cancer has taken off so nationally in such a (perspectively) legnth of time.
i wonder how much that chart changes yearly when a celebrity or millionaire gets attention for their dx?
