P.S. Tiller, as this is an "off-topic" post, it is considered good manners to start the subject with "OT". As in "OT Bucket List". Not criticizing, I swear, just wanted to let you know......

My bucket list for today is to clean the bathroom. My bucket is more like a pail (smile).
The fact that your bucket list is almost done, means you're accomplishing what's significant for you. That sounds great! What was the most challenging?

The key is an extreme dark location and knowing when to look. Check out the following website

They publish the current auroral oval and you can check to see if it grows large enough to be seen in your area. One can even subscribe to a service to be text or phoned when it will appear in your area but at $5 a month that is likely over-kill. In your case just checking into the website every couple of days should be enough.

BUT im not sure if i will get the chance unless we rent a cabin for a week or so but it can be expensive unless you share with a few friends....unfortunately most have jobs so holiday periods are the only option, which means holiday rates,,,,cannot take a trick lol..

some things on my bucket list I won't be able to do "in person" not only for health reasons, but financial. So I do love the internet & documentaries of other places on TV. I can go there in the comfort of my recliner ;)
