I had the fungus really bad in esopagus and stomach and mouth so I told the docs I probaly had in my lungs too and they just shrugged and said I don't think so but I probaly still have it bad. I might could breath better if they would check me and treat but I will die wondering if it was in my lungs. I guess u can see that struck a nerve.If we could just write treatments and precriptions for ourselves we would probaly come out better off. I also went to my endocrinologist last time and told her I thought I had pheocromo cytosis because of my symptoms and she got huffy and said no u dont I have been checking u and u dont have it I went back today and she said my stress hormones were way high so if they were still high from todays lab work I may have to be called in for lots of checks on it to be sure it is staying that high cause I could possible have pheocromocytoma. (Oh me) Duh I just told her I had all symptoms. Sorry I will quit ranting but it is depressing to deal with them.

Oh yes, there are good doctors and there are bad doctors. They DO NOT know everything. They're only human. Have to check around and find a good one who will, on top of everything else, LISTEN to you. Hope you're feeling better Holly.

I used to take Advair until I developed chronic Thrush. None of the treatments cleared it up. It went away after I dis-continued the Advair. The Thrush made my mouth and tongue burn and I developed off-white coating on the tongue and roof of mouth. It was pretty miserable.

In 2003, a mass, the size of a silver dollar was found in my right lung. Lung doctor thought it was cancer, but it has remained stable. So doctor says it's an old lung infection. I've often wondered if the Thrush I used to get, didn't somehow get into my lungs? I know that my breathing was very bad and it took quite a while before I started feeling/breathing better.
