Our lovely Joann died Sunday night. I don't know any details. She has not messaged me much since her transplants. I know that she had pulmonary embolisms, pneumonia, cmv and a feeding tube. She didn't want to worry me because my only option is transplants as I get worse. She said "I'm clearing a path so we'll know what to do if it happens to you." Oh how I will miss her

Ohhhh...im so so sorry....she was one of my first friends here at DS....She rarely posted lately......This has been such a sad year so far, following the end of '14

That is so heartbreaking to hear. She was so looking forward to this transplant. Thank you so much for letting us know. I haven't recieved a message from her for a while but I know she was having a bad time, a "bump in the road" she called it. Prayers for her family and friends. ;
