Beach vacation

I have recently been put on oxygen and was wondering what happens with traveling on vacation - my idea of a great vaation (usually 4 or 5 days) is to go to the caribbean and sit on the beach doing nothing - has this vacation dream now ended because I have to use oxygen -

any andall comments arewelcome and appreciated

I have an O2 concentrator that airlines accept & it goes with me like carry on but does not count against my carry on. I find this method to be easier & cheaper...it is battery, car adapter , or electric. I bought it online at Liberty Medical ( refurbished w/ 1 extra battery). You have to fax them a copy of your O2 Rx. You can also rent concentrators by the week or month. I called and talked to a real person who was friendly, helpful and cheerful ! A good experience all around. ADA has us covered ! Have a wonderful time !

Roepete....I see no reason to change your vacation plans...I used to have the larger take along tank....Now I have the smaller model which is much like a back pack....I see no reason why your O2 wouldn't enjoy a few days on the beach.....You will find a *new NORMAL* and in that you will find ways to incorporate the O2 in your everyday activities...Including vacations.....Great question by the way....
