Dang!, I guess we all prayed a wee bit too much for you guys and gals out there. I/m so sorry it affected your breathing. But look on the bright side *at least for Calif.). us folks here in the frozen tundra of the northeast will be getting all of those storms in the form of ice and snow!
Already they're predicting 8" to 12" of snow AND ice! Jim

Glad you are getting the rain but, I know the humidity is so awful on the breathing issues. I am along the shores of Lake Michigan in South West Michigan so we are headed for more nasty winter weather also.
Last summer was awfully hot and humid here and I had to take my portable neb with me if I was going to be gone for more that 4-5 hours during those low pressure, high humidity days.

That's true, Jim. Out here on the Mojave we've already got more than we usually get in a year. Luckily we've already had our snow this decade, so we're probably good for another 3-4 years. Bundle up warm...

Dennis: Just got home from the Mohave, Palm Desert, and hit on great weather for February - even felt good enough to take the g'kids to the zoo.

Got home and the dead Bermuda grass, winter leaves etc. and the first thing I did was cough like hell the first thing in the a.m. - Love the desert /hank/

Yeah DeeGran - I have this happen here in Western PA too. I could almost be a professional weather forecaster. My breathing suffers 24 hrs or more before a storm even gets in. I am glad that the drought seems to be breaking but saw some horrendous flooding pictures on the news tonight out in that big ol far western state. There seemed to be mud flowing everywhere and homes starting to be imperilled and even evacuated in some areas. You stay safe during that weather. Best wishes & BIG HUGS - Ruthie

Yes it certainly will make it harder to breath. Even here, I can be inside my house and can almost tell what the weather is outside, because it affects my breathing. But that is the low pressure, just before a storm. I did great at the ocean, of course weather was good. Please be careful tho, it is terrible mud slides and floods there now because all those trees that burnt in the great fires can not hold the ground back on the hills and the mud slides have started.

Yes Hank, we had some pretty fair weather the last few weeks with only a few windy days. I live a mite south of Death Valley...
