just want to know if anyone from Canada has used ADC. I checked their prices for Advair (Seretide) and I can get 3 months for the price I pay for one diskus. I pay $169. for the Advair 500 here. My other concern is that while it says ADC Canadian the prices are all in USD and at the moment our dollar is only worth 80 cents against the USD so that also adds to the cost. Any advice or info?

Plus I must tell you I am very excited as I read in the local paper that someone had applied to open a medical cannabis store in our little town. With all the dispensaries opening in British Columbia (where I live) I am hopeful that it will become legal here in the near future. I am anxious to try the oil or tincture for the times that my anxiety causes me great discomfort and the drugs prescribed do not seem to do much anymore.

My advair is free, I live in Quebec, Canada. My doc puts a code RE 42
on the prescription and writes a letter to the insurance company once a year and it is fully covered, with government coverage the code is enough. I work in a pharmacy, and know the codes.The prices here are far less than in the states.You should only be paying the deductable.

This code is only for advair and not for other meds. They each have their own codes.

That may work for anyone that has insurance coverage which I do not. When I had to quit work because of illness I lost all the benefits. The company had long term disability insurance but that ended when you reached 65, which I did while still working. In BC we have Pharmacare. With this plan when you have paid a certain amount - $1000 for us (based on your income ) then they pay 70% and when you reach the next level, $1300 they pay 100%. BUT the amount each drug costs is not the actual cost but what Pharmacare deems it to be worth, so in my case it usually takes until December for me to reach the first level.
Makes me wish I could afford to move to one of the other provinces where the coverage once you reach 65 is free.
