I wonder what anyone who is on nebulizer meds do to sleep...I take ambien to sleep,if I didnt I would never get any sleep due to the breathing meds...my sister in law is having a problem not getting more than 2 hours of sleep a night since she started taking breathing meds about a year ago.Ambien doesnt work for her.....What do you all take to combat the side effects of the breathing meds??......ty Irene

I average 3 1/2 hrs sleep at night. However, I am fortunate that I am retired from a job and my family is all grown up. So therefore, I don't have any routine daytime responsibilities to take care of. At this stage of my life, I can sleep whenever I need to. Also, I prefer to take the very minimum amount of medications as possible.

Yes, I agree that the pulmo meds affect yr sleep pattern (especially the nebulized meds) however, they are "a necessary evil". Pls keep in mind that most long-term medications all have side-effects...so be selective w/the "elective" medications. Discuss this w/yr doctor.
