My local mall opens two hours early for walkers. I'm one. I usually walk 2-3 miles at the mall 5 days a week. Over time you get to know other walkers, so you've got buddies to walk with. There are very fast walkers, very slow walkers, and everything in between, so it's likely there will be someone at your fitness level to walk with.

That's a great idea, gets you out of the house and it means you can exercise in the warm.

Its easy to get a bit stir crazy during the winter months, if you stay inside, at home without getting out occasionally.

I managed a walk out today, it was cold, but I was wrapped up warm and the sun was shining, makes a lot of difference.

You do really well Susan, 2-3 miles, that's very good, it does help tremendously to be able to walk in good air temperatures.

Thanks for posting this Holly, its always good to remember how important exercise is to our quality of life.
