Only your doctor or in some cases your pharmacist (ie, someone that knows your particular medical condition, comorbidities, and prescription regimen) can give a definitive answer to that question.

I see you have already asked this question in another post.

If you have been prescribed this medication and you use then as prescribe and immediately report back if they don't seem to be helping or result in some intolerable side-effect then there should be no problem.

If you have read anything elsewhere that gives you doubts - then make sure you tell your doctor you have doubts - I expect he/she will either alleviate your doubts or prescribe something else.

Be aware that even though we fall under the general umbrella of "COPD", when it comes to our specific pathological condition - we are all very different. Prescribing a medication that may be consider contraindicative for COPD in general for YOUR particular situation is not uncommon.

I do not know about the diazapam, but opiate drugs like hydrocodone 5/325, are used with caution in folks with copd, because they effect the breathing center of the brain, and to much can accumulate or you might take a higher dose than prescribed, and just not wake up. I use mine for chronic pain, only in the day time, if tylenol won.t touch it. I will not use it at night. That is just me,,,,
