if it is a sudden change, it most likely is a flare up & you should see your Dr. as soon as you can (or the ER if your dr is out for holidays) you may need a round of antibiotics and/or anti inflammatories.
(remember; COPD is slow moving so when we have sudden changes it is time to see a dr asap)
if this is your "normal" slow progression, it may help to ask your dr to order you Pulmonary rehab in your area; or start an exercise program at home.
(I don't have Pulmonary Rehab in my area, so I bought a cheap treadmill as i love to walk.)
Bj has a exercise site on Facebook that she posts different youtube videos of all types of exercises for different levels of ability. here is the sign in link, if you are a FB member this will take your straight to her site. I beleive it is still a "closed group" so you just need to ask her to "approve you as a member"

you may need to start with some chair & breathing exercises then work up from there.
I just realized that I have been getting more SOB than normal, but I have been slack about doing my exercises with the cold weather coming & a couple of illnesses, then my pain i went thru.
Today I am going to start with what i can do on my peddler & treadmill. I set myself a realistic goal & will try to work up to more. Amazing how fast I lose muscle tone in even a few days of doing less.
good luck & I hope you see a dr about this (it is also good to get your dr approval before starting any exercise program)
