Just came back from emerg. Couldn't take the back and rib pain anymore. Xray showed I have a compound fracture on a disc. She said could have been coughing or even moving wrong. Sure hope the pain meds help which in turn should settle my breathing again. I am on a bone medication so this should help the old creaky things.

Glad you finally went to the Dr to find out what was wrong. You take it easy and take your medication. I hope it helps with the pain.

WOW!! See? You weren't losing your mind!! Your body knows when something is just not right. SOOO glad u went to the hospital! Hoping you feel better soon, and meds help your pain. Take care hon!

What meds do they give you for bone pain? I was just wondering, as i have chronic pain in my back, knees and joints, and wondered what there is out there.

Glad to hear...but not really..that you found out the source of your pain and getting treatment...I still don't know what is causing mine yet...

and Boo..all they will give me is Tramadol..
