some time ago I mentioned my g. p. had given me samples of Anoro and and Breo to try. I've been taking Tiova every other day for some time. (I don't know how Meds know their time's up in 24 hours : ). Anyway I was reluctant but last I saw him he encouraged by saying they are two Meds in one. So I've now taken Breo for a few weeks. I am not very sick to begin with usually except for SOB. But I must say I felt well during that time and did not have lung pain. I think I will not try the Anoro since it is an
Anticholinergic which some think if taken too long encourages dementia.
Probably will continue with Tiova for now since I ordered a slug of it.

I was taking spiriva every other day also as every day dried me up too much & gave me a chokey cough.
I just switched to the new "spiriva respimat" inhaler & I love it!
It says to do 2 puffs a day, but that's too much for me---1 puff a day seems to do me good.
I haven't tried any of the inhalers that have a steroid in them, because I have reactions to steroids.
However, I'm interested that you say you didn't have "lung pain" while you did it= what "kind" of lung pain do you have that it helped? (my lung pain feels like i broke my ribs down my sides)
Doctors have told me that lungs do not have nerve fibers so they do not produce pain. However, all surrounding areas around the lungs are being affected and reacting w/various levels of discomfort (we tend to call this "lung pain"). Yr previous med, Tiova (equal to Spriva) was not a steroid and this new med is. It sounds like the new meds w/the introduction of steroid + bronchodilator have given you relief.
Sure, finish up the "in-stock" Tiova. It would be interesting to see if yr previous discomfort returns when you stop taking Breo.. Then you might mention yr observations to yr doctor.

I imagine you understand that unwellness that can come over me sometimes. But some of you may have it all the time. I would be very sorry if so.
