Hi everyone. I have had Asthma for many years but after flairing quite badly over the last few months ( I have spent 60 of the last 75 days on prednisone) they decided to do pulmonary function testing beyond the usual spirometry... My O2 and CO2 and the like were normal but my general lung function came back at only 51% so I was told I have moderate COPD. I don't know much about COPD but I hope to learn. I am on Singulair, Albuterol, Duoneb (if needed), Advair, and Qvar. Other meds for other things but these are for my lungs....

Sorry COPD brought you to this point, but I'm glad you made it here....

Get with a lung specialist (pulmologist) and he can maybe start you on good nutrition therapy, exercises, and make sure your meds are helping you.
There is loads of experience in this group, so if you have a question, someone will have the answer.
