Conversion Disorder is a disorder in which your brain converts certain types of mental stress into physical symptoms like blindness, paralysis, seizures and other neurologic symptoms. It usually begins suddenly during a period of intense physical or psychological stress. Once someone has conversion disorder it tends to reoccur episodically over the rest of their life.
