Congenital heart disease is heart disease in the newborn, and includes congenital heart defects, congenital arrythmias, cardiomyopathies, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). CHD can describe a wide variety of different abnormalities affecting the heart. CHD occurs when the heart or blood vessels near the heart does not develop properly before birth.

Hi gang i know most of you know my constant bp problems but I've running low the last couple of months and today it hit all time low 104/58 but it seems that sometimes it drops after eating has anyone had this and should i worry? thanks and god bless.

Hi, I talked to you in my earlier screenname Di RN. 104/58 is a very good BP. and for most people they would be just fine. However, if I remember your BP was always very high. Your body has become accustomed to it and could feel kind of cruddy with a lower reading, dizziness, low energy, etc. Usually, your body will adjust to this BP.
However, low blood pressure can also be associated with a lot of different problems too, so ask your doctor. Love and blessings, Diane

Hi! I often have problems with low BP. Usually mine drops with the first sign of major stress or strong emotion. I can always tell when I feel the sudden fatigue and/or weakness. When I checked it this morning, it was down to 86/55. I usually down some water and take a good nap (because I'm good for nothing anyway) and then it stabilizes soon after.
