Compulsive lying Community Group
For individuals who lie because they cannot reveal their true selves to other people in their lives at the risk of being disliked. Are you a victim of this type of abuse??
I am a liar
Im not even sure where to start on talking about this, or how to change myself. So I'll start with some truths! I am a frequently depressed young man, with a nearly 3 year old daughter. And a relationship that is currently on hold because of the lying. I've damaged relationships with many friends and family members and my own reputation from my actions.
I'd very much like to change, but I can't seem to get my head on straight about all this.... What would you guys advise a fool like me to do?

Shit, you sound very similar to me. Have you sought counseling? Many workplaces offer employee services through an external group that is free of charge. That’s what I’m doing.

I'm in a very similar situation. I'd try and get your significant other to talk to you about it so you can get things out on the table and something that I did with my fiancé is every time I would lie I'd tell him either right away or later that day and we had this no hard feelings situation. He was just happy I was being honest about my lying. Hope this helps! Feel free to message me if you need more!
