Compulsive lying Community Group
For individuals who lie because they cannot reveal their true selves to other people in their lives at the risk of being disliked. Are you a victim of this type of abuse??
I have been a liar for as long as I can remember. IF I don't stop I'm going to lose the man that I love and I tried therapy a few months ago but couldn't go through with it. I lie about stupid stuff like I told him I didn't know what Taco Bell is... how do I stop?
I am not perfect and I know this will be hard for me. It feels almost impossible. If it means anything, you just took the first step and admitted you have a problem and want to fix yourself.
I have to take each moment one by one, slow down and resist the temptation. I am on day #3 as I keep having to reset. I know I can do this just like I know you can.
