Compulsive lying Community Group

For individuals who lie because they cannot reveal their true selves to other people in their lives at the risk of being disliked. Are you a victim of this type of abuse??

I've made it 3 days without lying. I know you guys can do it too. If you have any tips to watch myself. I can't mess this up. If I do, I lose my fiancé and that is just not an option. I have to make it. It takes 28 days to break a habit right? Here we go.

Well done! I have gone two days and had some very serious conversations with family that scared me to death.

Yeah I had to talk to a few people. It feels good though to let it all out. This is it. I'm making the change to make myself a better person.

I am approaching this all cautiously. Being addictive by nature, I know that the desire to change is strong but my flesh is weak. When I get into that fight or flight mode - what will I do? I can try to do this cold turkey (which is what the people around me deserve), but can I really do that.

I just need to take each time I speak as an opportunity to do and say the right thing. I can only control the moment I am in, nothing else.
