Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is a group of 20-30 primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs) which have a common set of symptoms but with different underlying causes. CVID's underlying causes are different, but the result of these are that the body doesn't produce sufficient antibodies in response to exposure to pathogens.
Hi Everyone, I am loving this site and read it quite often as I am fairly new to having CVID and still learning so much from all of you.
I was diagnosed with CVID in November of last year and started SubQ infusions of Hizentra within that month. About a month after starting my infusions, I started having watery eyes that literally drip down my face. My immunologist/allergist has said that she thinks it is due to my allergies. I take Zyrtec, Singulair, Nasonex, Patonase and Flovent for my allergies. I am beginning to wonder whether my drippy, watery eyes are really due to my allergies or if they could be a side effect of the Hizentra.
Anyone else have any side effects like this? I am soooo tired of wiping my eyes all day long!! :(

Normally my eyes water once in awhile from allergies & this summer the faucet has been turned on full blast. I think I can cure the water shortage from my eyes alone..
I know in my case there is no connection between the two...
Can't wait for cooler weather & some rain..
