Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is a group of 20-30 primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs) which have a common set of symptoms but with different underlying causes. CVID's underlying causes are different, but the result of these are that the body doesn't produce sufficient antibodies in response to exposure to pathogens.

restarting my treatments

Yesterday I restarted treatment with IGIVnex. It will be continued every three weeks . I may have to have an ivad port put in , but so far yesterday went well . One day at a time . So far so good . No side effects today . I was previously doing sub Q treatments ; having problems with delayed reactions . That treatment was discontinued .
Its good to be back on the site where I know others understand . I have recently been fighting with some recurring infections , so I am on an aggressive doasge of antibiotics as well . I sure will be glad to get a little energy back .
Has anyone else been on the IGIVnex?

Day 3 since infusion , and am on a positive upward healing . Along with the agggressive dosage of antibiotics I am thinking this cold along with all the other recurring infections I have been dealing with for months might get kicked to the curb. This is hopeful . All of my reactions have been delayed reactions , such as shortness of breath ; rash , itching to name just a few , and so far this is continuing to look good .
. I am so hoping this is my miracle . I am wishing you all the best your day can bring . We ARE zebra strong.

Yes Kelli ... I wondered about that ... maybe this one is only available in Canada . There are no preservatives , and I think no sugar . Hyquvia which I believe is your newest is not available here in Canada.
It seems really the first one that I have had that I have not had reactions...its very promising for me so far . I hydrated well before . I will read up on the literature and product insert at my next infusion .
