Common Variable Immunodeficiency Support Group
Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is a group of 20-30 primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs) which have a common set of symptoms but with different underlying causes. CVID's underlying causes are different, but the result of these are that the body doesn't produce sufficient antibodies in response to exposure to pathogens.
Today my immunologist has added home breathing treatment. I just completed my first one. Is it normal to be very shaky?

I have to use a nebulizer at least once a week and yes, it is normal to be shaky. (It still sucks, though!) It does seem to improve after you get used to it. Using the breathing treatments helps me so much more than using an inhaler and I hope it helps you too.
Did he/she give you Albuetrol or Xopenex for the nebulizer? Albuetrol makes most people VERY shaky and I can't use it due to heart problems. Xopenex is much easier as far as shakiness, fast heart rate and anxiety and in the nebulizer, they make a generic so it costs the same as Albuetrol.

I am so sorry you have to use a Nebulizer..They are horrible..And yes it is perfectly normal to be shaky afterwards..Like Ashlee said it does improve after you get used to it..But it does help, a lot..
