Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is a group of 20-30 primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs) which have a common set of symptoms but with different underlying causes. CVID's underlying causes are different, but the result of these are that the body doesn't produce sufficient antibodies in response to exposure to pathogens.
I just started hyqvia three weeks ago. First dose I was okay and second I had headaches and I cannot get rid of the fatigue. The fatigue is overwhelming. Does anybody else experience or has experienced this? Thank you so much. I am a little worried.
I did not have this reaction with HyQvia. I have been on it for a year and two month after being on IVIG Octagam for 2 years. I feel like I am doing better on the HyQvia and my levels are the highest they ever been around 1175. Are you ramping up on the HyQvia when you first started? You can't start your full dose on the first/ second round. You get to your full dose on the third round. It is something you have to ramp up with.
