Common Variable Immunodeficiency Support Group
Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is a group of 20-30 primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs) which have a common set of symptoms but with different underlying causes. CVID's underlying causes are different, but the result of these are that the body doesn't produce sufficient antibodies in response to exposure to pathogens.
I do not know what hypermobile joints are/do so forgive my ignorance.
I do have Inflammatory Arthritis, and and have been experiencing worsening joint, but what also feels like bone pain to me as well that definitely affects my daily activities.
My wrists feel broken, so moving them back and forth, driving, washing my hair, etc...is very painful. I had X Rays of my hands and wrists and the only thing that showed up were "Bony Islands" which I guess are no big deal and would not cause the pain.
I also often feel like I have shin splints and my knees and knuckles can be a source of great joint pain.
I also have an auto Immune Disease, so I am on Plaquenil which has helped with some of the other major joint pain in my hips, elbows
Hope this helps, LuLu
