Common Variable Immunodeficiency Support Group
Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is a group of 20-30 primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs) which have a common set of symptoms but with different underlying causes. CVID's underlying causes are different, but the result of these are that the body doesn't produce sufficient antibodies in response to exposure to pathogens.
I have also gained weight in the last year since I started IGG infusions. I too have gained 8 or 9 lbs. I have never had a weight problem and I have weighed more or less the same amount for the last 30 years - except when I was pregnant.
Not sure what it is. I am actually eating less. Would appreciate some feedback.
Thanks,
Jeannette
