Oh you will do great. MOST people get unlimited teachings from their nurse. I had an hmo and had to go into docs office for his nurse to show me twice and had no one to call when I had questions. Boy did I have lots HAHA. I've posted wildly on here in the past with my questions.

The needles are SUPER tiny so believe it or not its like impossible to do damage to yourself. I was always worried I would hit a vein, muscle whatever. Not going to happen. I think the thing that stressed me out was the order of everything and keeping everything clean. Boy, now I whip the supplies together at MACH speed haha. I infuse 10g in 5 sites. I get sleepy (I do not medicate) for about 2 hours than am good as new!

Don't forget to get in touch with your manufacturer and get all their patient goodies, infusion logs and sign up for their patient assistance programs in case you ever loose insurance. Thats not just with subq either - all of them have this program. We are here if you need us!

Thanks to both of you. Kelli, I have already asked for all the patient information. Although I am nervous I do have a head up on others as I am a registered medical assistant and have given injections before.

First infusion done! I was really surprised at how easy it all was. So far the only side effect is extreme fatigue.
