Hey everyone,

For those of you with CVID related digestive issues that mimic IBS and Chrohns... I have been struggling with bowel issues for the past 6 years but very badly in the last 2. Have had a slew of testing and it all came back clean--not an infection or parasites. Anyways, this week it has been really bad. Like housebound bad.

A woman whose children I tutor has Chrohns disease and we were chatting one day about our health issues, and she recommended this probiotic called Tu Zen. You can get them from the pharmacy and they are not prescription (in Canada at least) and she urged me to try them, saying, "These pills saved my life". I scoffed a little--that is a huge claim to make about something!

Well, I have tried those miracle pills twice now. The first time, I took one pill and the next morning the watery diarrhea was gone and what came out of me was actually digested for once. I finished the sleeve of pills she gave me--about 10 days worth and you are supposed to be on them for 4 to 6 weeks--and I felt awesome. I was having normal bowel movements, digesting my food properly. no more diarrhea or IBS symptoms...

That was 4 months ago and my stomach slowly reverted back. But last night I caved and tried Tu Zen again, and was over joyed to find sweet relief this morning. So I am going to bite the bullet and do a full 6 weeks this time.

For those of you who suffer like I do with bowel problems, I strongly recommend this stuff. It's expensive: 37$ for 30 pills. But it is worth it. Every penny.

I plan to try experimenting with making homemade yogurt and adding Tu Zen's probiotics into the culture :P Going to do some research and experimentation and post my findings for everyone.
