Common Variable Immunodeficiency Support Group
Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is a group of 20-30 primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs) which have a common set of symptoms but with different underlying causes. CVID's underlying causes are different, but the result of these are that the body doesn't produce sufficient antibodies in response to exposure to pathogens.
My biopsies from the two types of skin lesions I have been having since 2010 BOTH seem to be the same thing in different versions......and the term on the report seemed familiar.
Then I went back to the colonoscopy report my gastro doc gave me last year when they found the c-diff...low and behold, they're in my intestines and colon, too.
Why do we seem to be our own experts?!
