Common Variable Immunodeficiency Support Group
Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is a group of 20-30 primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs) which have a common set of symptoms but with different underlying causes. CVID's underlying causes are different, but the result of these are that the body doesn't produce sufficient antibodies in response to exposure to pathogens.
There is no "relapse" with CVID. Treatment does not cure us. Treatment is meant to significantly reduce the frequency and severity of infections over time.
CVID can come with a host of things: arthritis (some are helped by infusions and some are not), gut issues (some are helped by treatment and some are not), autoimmune disease is very common with us. If you already have stomach issues, then having diarrhea would seem par for the course in my opinion. The shakiness and knocking things over you should talk to your physician about. Its important to remember, not everything that happens with our body is because of CVID. Good luck
