Common Variable Immunodeficiency Support Group
Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is a group of 20-30 primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs) which have a common set of symptoms but with different underlying causes. CVID's underlying causes are different, but the result of these are that the body doesn't produce sufficient antibodies in response to exposure to pathogens.
It's great to hear from you! I was worried. I'm glad the pharmacy change has worked out for you. I'm sorry about the nasal spray. That's a lot of money! Has your doctor called and asked the insurance to pay and told them why you need it and all the other stuff you've tried? I hope they pay it. I'm sorry about the allergy shots. I understand not wanting any more sticks. I hope they help and you feel better on them. I'm so happy to hear from you and to know you are OK. If you ever need anything, feel free to call me. I'm not far away.
Sending hugs and love,
Ashlee
Nice to see your post. Today. :-)
My immuno had me on Dymista for 6 months, nasal spray to help with allergies that triggered my asthma (not steroidal). The insurance company wouldn't cover it and I got a coupon from the manufacturer that reduced the price from $180 to $51 a month. Much more manageable. The coupon was good for 6 months. Maybe your manuafacturere could have some help. Hugs - Zen
