Coming Out Support Group
This community is dedicated to the challenges that gay men and lesbian women face, both between the partners in a relationship and from other influences (family, society, etc.). Find support and talk to others who may be facing the same challenges, and share your experience.
a couple things to keep in mind in all of it. one is that there are differences in behaviors related to the sexes that make things less obvious. Straight women do hold hands for instance, male sports players patting each other on the butt, so on. These things quite often will be overlooked and thus in a relationship situation on your end, wont really play into needing to come out so to speak. Secondly is that its entirely your choice to tell someone or not. Unless you are planning to do overt public displays of affection, people are generally people and no one is going to have a clue. Now sure if you plant a kiss on someone, okay there may be something there, if you introduce someone as your girlfriend or boyfriend, then generally there is an affiliation other than friends but not always. What i am getting at is even if today, you began dating someone and had a relationship, you can have that and absolutely no one have a clue outside of those you live with (potentially). So because you want to come out. I'd look at those you know you can trust who will support you, maybe bring them in on it, and then you can branch out from there, just understand it doesn't stop you from being able to have a relationship at the same time. At most it limits how "public" you are about some elements around those close to you.
