Coming Out Support Group
This community is dedicated to the challenges that gay men and lesbian women face, both between the partners in a relationship and from other influences (family, society, etc.). Find support and talk to others who may be facing the same challenges, and share your experience.

I'm a newbie to this site. Not really sure what im doing. But I jus recently realized im bi sexual thru therapy.. Not really sure what to say or where to go from here.. but I was told to check out this site and I could maybe make so friends cuz nobody but my therapist knows im bi sexual. And i dnt plan on "comin out" anytime soon.

well you really don't have to go or do anything from here. I mean you are bi, which really isn't a thing now a days and unless you have a same sex partner now there is no reason to come out to really anyone you know in real life. All it means is you have a much wider array of options than many. Not a bad thing to have. Anyhow, welcome to the site and hopefully you will find what you are hoping to. For now, work on accepting you are bi and see where that leads.

Dam that was awesome lol. I didn't think anybody wud answer. But yu made me feel good. Thank yu. So this site is more for gays and lesbians??
WyndWytch
yeah it has groups for just about everything honestly. It is kind of an over arching support site. This specific group deals with coming out, not really specifying it be coming out as gay or lesbian bi or trans. Just coming out. There's another for trans gender people spouses of trans people, anxiety, depression, even healthy sex (not sure what is in that one as I never really looked I think its along addiction things though) alcoholism, you name it its on here. Some are more active than others but that is they way most things like this are. I try to visit the ones I am a member of once every day or so, and if I can offer something that is helpful I try to. Sometimes I am more successful than others but I try. Glad I was able to help you.

Hey, that sucks. Would your family be supportive?
Devjj
He'll no
WyndWytch
why not? On the plus side they don't need to know till you have a same sex partner, so you are safe there. Just curious why you are so sure they will be dead set against it?

Well it's been awhile since I've been on her. But to answer your last question wyndwytch... I finally told my mom I was seeing a therapist, and it took her a full 24 hrs to finally absorb it and start acting normal again cuz when I broke the news about a therapist she was so caught off guard, she was a little in disgust!

there is a certain shock factor to the whole thing, so there will be an adjustment time, i am just glad she got back to being herself again in that quick a time.
