Hey my name is Katy white recently I came out to a girl I meet on here. I have been hiding that I'm a lesbian for about 7 years. Talking with her as made be realizes that being gay, bi or lesbian is all not wrong.
To make matters worse I live in a Christian home. I Just want to tell people that are out if you are a Christian and are having troubles were you are thinking that being LGBT is against god well to me I would say that's wrong god gave us the 10 commandants to live by and to live our Christian life's by and no where in those 10 commandants does it say that being LGBT is wrong.
I'm not going to lie to people but I'm still struggling being a lesbian and also living a Christian life. right now I have decide that I'm not hiding who I am anymore but also I'm not going to tell my parents till I find my own place. which is going to be hard.
But I have found a way that works for me. I'm a artist and I came up with a way that I can express that I'm a LGBT person and also don't offend people who don't like LGBT. I created a tattoo or sign that spell LGBT in signs and have drawn it on my arm. its also purple for anti bullying cuz a lot of LGBT people get bullied.
If you are wanting to see it its in my photos. I hope that this will help a lot of people feel comfortable around other people and make coming out a little easier.

I'm a christian as well but you don't have to take everything christianity says for granted. Don't forget god teached about love and unity and even sacrificed himself for that reason, because he loved us. Being LGBT is not a choice, but it's nature. And nature never does wrong. Society does. But society also commited atrocities like burning people through Holy testiment, having wars for the sake of profit and economy. Don't be afraid for your relationship for God. Since you love yourself you will find it easier to establish a good relationship with God. God is all about love, not punishment.
