Hello everyone, this is my first discussion topic on this forum. Okay so a little bit about me, I am a bisexual mtf transgendered person. I started attending therapy back in March. Not on hormones yet, probably won't be til sometime this fall. My therapist last time, asked me to seek out a perfect plan to tell my mom. I could care less about my biological dad knowing and same goes for my stepdad.
I'm not sure how to break it to my mom. I found a journal of hers from 2005, where she wrote she was worried about my puberty and getting into her stuff. So I know now that at one point she must've had a thought about it. But that was a while ago. She probably just thought it was a phase at the time.
But my original plan was to start hormones and then tell her since by that time there would be nothing she could really do. But my therapist is kinda pressuring me to tell her sooner rather than later. So my new plan was to buy some women's clothes. Just a couple tops really. And then if she discovered them or caught me wearing them, well then at least she can't complain they are hers lol. She also noticed last night that I have been shaving my legs, and she knows I don't want my hair cut either. I would think in the very least she has to be thinking something about me right?
She doesn't want to come up to me and talk about it, and really I don't want to go to her and talk about it either. I'm waiting for her to address me, and maybe she's waiting for me to address her. Who knows. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might come out to her in a way that doesn't completely knock her socks off?

So maybe what I could do is write in one of my notebooks. I have several notebooks I keep around leftover from school, and I just use them for random thoughts and ideas. I could write a whole detailed description of what I'm going through and what I'm doing. Maybe she'll come across it and read it. She's not a snooper like me though lol. So I might have to leave it somewhere just a little obvious. That could definitely open the doors to having a little discussion. Thanks Wynd, I think I have found my answer. It's not perfect, but it might just be the best way to go :)
