Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. Many colorectal cancers are thought to arise from mushroom-like growths that are usually benign, but some may develop into cancer over time. The majority of the time, the diagnosis of localized colon cancer is through colonoscopy.

Wanted to say goodbye to the site

This is a little weird. I just joined this site this week to get some advice about my mom's upcoming surgery and I realized that one of the people on this site is a friend of one of my sisters who lives in another state. Even though I don't know this person, my heart is telling me that I would be disrespecting his/her privacy to stay. Thanks for all the advice and I wish every one of you the best. Sarah

Sarah the fact that you are willing to leave this site to protect this person's privacy tells me you have a lot of integrity. If I was this person knowing this about you would not concern me that you stayed. You have as much need to be here as we all do and we all respect each others privacy.

Sarah I only put up here what I am happy for the world to know so would not worry me if you were to share it with others, hell they could come here and read if they wanted.

Maybe ask this person their thoughts before you leave.

Either way will have you and your mum in my prayers.
